Shock Absorbing Castors

Shock absorbing castors are designed to provide protection to load and/or floor surface.

V90A series castors are fitted with either polypropylene or pressed steel pneumatic tyred wheels of 200mm or 260mm diameter and provide a cushion to delicate loads as well as protection to running surface, particularly turf. Consequently, the V90A series is widely used in sports applications, a good example being cricket covers.

Side plate mounting gate castors are fitted with a 100mm diameter rubber tyred wheel. A coil spring allows smooth running and support over uneven ground.
