Special Application Castors

The special application range incorporates products which provide solutions in demanding or unusual working conditions.

Low level castors provide high load capacities where a relatively low fitted height is required. Corrosion resistant series include the synthetic, washable Manner Tango castor and a wide range of stainless steel castors with a variety of top fixings and wheel types.

Also available is a choice of products (including stainless steel) for use in high temperature working conditions of up to 270 centigrade. The I20HT series even includes a rubber tyred wheel able to withstand up to 250 centigrade.

Jacking castors provide the means to raise then move heavy equipment while shock absorbing castors give maximum protection to delicate loads or floor and even include a spring loaded gate castor. Cargo and container applications are served by a range of products such as the ISO freight container castor and inverted cargo castors.

Grooved and flanged wheels fitted into fixed brackets provide the ideal solution for track use and SPG inverted ball castors are designed specifically for use in the glass industry. Scaffolding castors are available in a range of types conforming to appropriate industry standards and the environmental industry is served by the V40L series waste container castor.

The unique Carrymaster incorporates a levelling foot and wheel in a heavy duty die cast housing. The special application range is completed with the 2V20V series twinwheel furniture castor.
